Our Story
Tony Meredith, world-renowned choreographer and professional ballroom dancer, is bringing ballroom dance to the Hawaiian Islands!
Originally hailing from Samoa, Meredith lived in Hawaii from the age of four to twelve and eventually moved back to Samoa where he stayed through high school. At the age of 19, Meredith moved to San Diego, California to pursue a career in ballroom dance. Over the years, Meredith’s career has taken him all over the world and his professional achievements have been extensive, including a national ballroom title, choreography credits for icons like Madonna and Celine Dion and so much more.
After spending over 40 years in the dance industry, Meredith moved back to Hawaii and founded Aloha Ballroom Company in January 2024.
“My career has not paused. It continues to expand internationally! I wanted to bring dance and my experience back to my stomping grounds in Hawaii.”

Our Mission
Aloha Ballroom Company is in the business of enriching people's lives through ballroom dancing. We teach non-dancers how to dance and express themselves. You deserve to have fun! We provide an exquisite environment to escape the harsh realities of a hectic world.
Did you know that dancing prevents dementia by 76%? That's more than any other physical or mental activity.
Many people say, "I have two left feet,” "I have no rhythm," or "You can't teach an old dog new tricks." Well, we can teach you. We promise. We do it with beginners every day. And they're all apprehensive, just like you. They're all a pinch scared. Don't be. Or be scared and face the fear. It'll go away! You’re in good hands.
You have to trust us. That's all we ask of you. It's all we ever ask of anyone: for an opportunity—to call your bluff—to prove to you that you can dance, and that you're not fully living if you're not dancing. Today is the day!
